Southern Summer Jam Bash 2002

Two days of the biggest and best Jam Skating and Competitions of the year 2002.

When:  Saturday & Sunday  -  June 29 & 30  of  2002

Where:  Romp N Roll  Skate Center  -  Conyers, GA

Why:  To give you a chance to hang and skate with the best jam skaters in the country all under one roof, showing you what is possible on skates.  To allow jam skaters a place to compete and show their skills to fellow jammers.

Event on Saturday  ( 8:00 pm - 12:00 midnight ):  Open Jam Skating on the floor.  Come hear the best Jam Skating Music and socialize with fellow jam skaters from across the USA.  This night is set up for having fun, getting to know other skaters, learning new moves from fellow skaters and seeing how to become part of / or organizing a jam skating team for your area.  This time can also be used for final tuning of your routines for the next day of competition.  Cost for attending this part of the event is $ 8.00.  Registration for Sunday's competition will be held also during this event at a table on the concord area. 

** Please note - shuffle / jam skaters will control the very outside edge of floor.  Also the very center of the floor will be used by jam skaters showing their skills and practicing for the competition.  This night of skating is not for the beginner skater. **

Event on Sunday  ( 7:00 am - till ?  depends on number of entrees ):  This day event is a day of competitions.  Doors will open at 7:00 am to allow skaters to register who were not able to the night before.  Competition will start at 8:30 am sharp.  This will allow time for people attending to check out of motels and eat before arriving at the rink.  There is no admission cost to this event for our competitors, coaches, team captains or event sponsor.  A spectator fee will be collected of $ 3.00 from all others attending Sunday's event.
